Opening words: “When you start looking at the stars you see that you are not alone in the universe, but where are you? Where do you belong in the entire scheme of things? What is your place and where are you going now? These questions continue to plague or intrigue wise men and women, but are seldom thought through once a person gets established in the world. Why is that?
“The only person who questions you is You. All others are not interested in the final outcome of your life. They have their own lives to concentrate on and be held accountable for when the end of all these Earthly concerns arrives, so be sure you know the answers to all of the important questions of your life before that time.
“If you are the only one in your family, you have no family—only ancestry. To have no family implies you have no roots, but you do. You are the end product of one entire outgrowth of a much larger entity of the universe, known here simply as YOU. You are not the entire universe, but you have it all within YOU.
“When you decided to appear on Earth in human form, you also decided to take along with you Spiritual Guides from other aspects of your entire personality or entity to help you while here. Those beings are of You (your Higher Self) and exist within you, but you are not the only one here. Your Guides also have ‘personalities’ of their own which are led through difficult passages by other higher Spiritual Guides in order to accelerate their learning and advancement.”
Page 58: “What you need is not a new face or a new body. You need a whole new attitude. The attitudes of today are not suitable for the next plane. You have to learn to cope with malfeasance, yet not do evil; you have to learn to cope with lazy people without becoming overbearing; you have to learn to cope with those who vary from your way of thinking in every way without becoming their floor mat; and you have to learn to understand why you choose to do the things that you do. Once you learn all that, you are you.”
Page 129: “You decide daily what your mood will be. Why be so negative? You are a positive being of light, and energy is not induced by crossing it with negative thinking. In fact, choosing to be negative may shorten your life—short you out, so to speak.”
